Q. How much can I expect to pay for a consultation?
A. Your initial investment in a Home Staging Consultation is far less than your first price reduction. Our fees are based on the size and scope of the consultation; however, they usually start at $125.00. We would be happy to give you an estimation at your request, so feel free to contact us.

Q. What wll I get for my investment?
A. Before your consultation begins, your Home Staging consultant will ask you to give her a tour of your home, and with your permission, will take “Before” photographs of each room. You can expect Your Home Staging Consultation to take an average of 2 to 3 hours or more of your time as the both of you move from room to room. You will receive on-the-spot solutions for transforming your home into a show home and will be given a detailed written report upon completion of your Consultation. At that point you will be well equiped to successfully Stage® your home. If at any time thereafter, you have additional questions, feel free to contact your consultant and she will be happy to help answer them. Once you are all finished with your Staging, for a nominal fee your consultant can return to assist you with finishing touches and will then take professional “After” photographs for use in your marketing materials.

Q. What happens if, after I’ve invested money into a consultation, I decide that I can’t finish the work on my own?
A. No problem. Any fees that you have paid thus far are applicable toward Staging Services should you decide that you need assistance with doing the Staging work.

Q. I have quite a bit of furniture and decorative accessories. Can we use them, or will I have to rent things from your inventory?
A. That is entirely up to each client. Our first goal is to utilize what you have. By re-arranging items form one room to another, or by packing away items that just don’t compliment the space we are usually able to create a fresh, new, and inviting environment

Q. Are there any statistics available that show my return on investment?
A. Yes, as a matter of fact, and the International Association of Home Staging Professionals researches and gathers statistical data on a yearly basis. Click on the Staging Statistics link to the right of this page where we have provided additional resources for you.

Q. What if I want to purchase the items that my Stager brings into my home? Originally, my intention was to rent the furnishings and accessories that The Buyer’s Eyes brought in to showcase my home, but I would really like to take them with me when I move.
A. In some cases we do transfer ownership of furntiure and accessory items to our clients through a bill of sale. The purchase price will be based on retail value and will be reduced by the rent already paid towards a specific item or items. The Buyer’s Eyes is also required by law to collect state and local sales tax on the purchase price.
